It's not over yet, though. The moral line in this whole argument is just toooo thin. Sure, they knew they were hosting illegal stuff, but at the same time, should it really be a website's responsibility to monitor 24/7 that illegal content or links to illegal content doesn't slip by? If so, why don't they just sue Google. If I type in "torrents" or "movie torrents" or whatever into Google, I can find a text link to illegal, copyright material.

ThePirateBay does not host illegal content. It links to illegal content.

But honestly, do the MAFIAA (slashdot slang for MPAA, RIAA, and associates) really think that they can stop P2P in its tracks?
