Guardian (extraction?)

Are you sure you're actually touching the monsters when you activate Guardian? It wouldn't make sense to me if it worked to stun when you're some distance away.

Guardian wont go off unless youre attacked (ranged magic whatever) or you touch something. I've touched plenty of monsters, had them thrown back (that's part of what guardian does, pushes them away), but it only stuns them a very small % of the time when it's supposed to be 100% by the description.
