i was trying more overtly for genki style: opacity brushes with fine detailing, i still haven't figured out how genki does it exactly. for reference:

I really like it! Probably because of my weakness for girls who have their hair up xD. At a first glance, the face looked a bit awkard because I could only see the nostrils but after looking at it again, I think it looks good.
