lower damage per hit only matters if you kill monsters in more hits because of it. and, as always, 1h is a poor choice at gobies, but thats the only place ive found where 2h truely is better.
Your math was not very clear. I thought you were comparing clean RKs with clean Spartas.
Also, a 91 watk RK (avg, scrolled with 4 60%s, the avg success rate) does not beat a 98 watk 2h sword (avg, scrolled with 4 60%s). They're comparably very close though. The likelihood of someone getting a godly RK like the one you described is pretty darn low. Kudos if he can get one though.
OP, feel free to switch to 1h swords when you hit 4th job. And I stay by my suggestion of 2h weaponry until then.
EDIT: Khaizuko, a list of your equips would be nice to have xD Unless your stuff is all run-of-the-mill avg armor.
