Could pot help California's economy?

As long as alcohol and cigarettes are legal, there is absolutely no justifiable reason to keep pot outlawed. Drunk people are far more dangerous than people high on pot. Furthermore, it is not addictive and you cannot overdose on it.

I think it could probably stimulate a lot of consumption so long as it isn't ridiculously priced. Just my 2 cents.
