Since charge does not overide higher attack pot (nor do many of the pirate skills 
) so if you were to use an apple, and charge activates, your att wont drop. So, it may be worth it to just buy ciders and carry some of them around, as they only last 5 mins, you can use one when you come up to a smaller mob that might not fully charge charge up, you wont really miss out on an att boost.
