I'm part of a HT group that sells Pends/Eggs (though not really one of the top ones in our server). I even had to go through a lot of trouble and several runs to earn my Pendant, Egg and MW20 (never paid for any of them, thankfully). Despite all that, I'm not upset Nexon made MW20 a joke to get because of boxes and this new pendant that ruins HT pends. It happens all the time in Maplestory... I've learned to accept it long ago.
It's very easy to understand why Opeth is upset. Almost anyone would be if they spent a crapton of mesos (600m?) for an item that gets completely replaced shortly after. He has every right to complain. I sure as hell would be.
And besides that, his point is valid for other reasons. Notice how screwed up the equipment standards are in our version of MS? If you want the best, there's really no other option than getting the special equips GMS has released: Facestompers, Stormcaster Gloves and now Mark of Naricain. Look at how common Chaos Scrolls are in our version, too. All those equips almost completely beat any other equip in their class. It's pretty stupid. If they keep it up, eventually the majority of people will have identical equips simply because they are so much better than everything else. GMS already shows signs of that... Class-unique equips are getting closer and closer to death.
I don't mind all these things, like I've said. But let's not be dense people. It's easy to understand his arguments and where he's coming from with his complaints.
