I DID say that the OP should go to the thief first. The reason the item was made was to help in this assignment. In that regard the intellectual property has been given and served its use, although even that is illegal in schools. IP is not like mesos. Giving a Sparta is not like giving IP. Giving IP formally involves a detailed contract, not just a simple in-game trade, because IP use is more potentially complicated than the simple giving of mesos or items. The analogy as you're using it is inaccurate. They had an oral contract: I give you IP for help in homework. He's gone beyond that. I mean, that's not isn't like going to a law office to sell a patented item, but the principle stands.

The OP has NOT agreed to let the guy take the stuff to a museum and parade it to the world as his own "excellence." There's all sorts of ways to refuse putting your work in a museum. If he does that and does further homework by himself, the incident is over. If he doesn't, then he deserves reprisal.

If the guy is using this program as the OP intended, why would the OP even have a problem and come here to ask about it?
