Maplestory's most important factor is it's bosses and the fact that we mages cant go because they are (elementally) resistant to our attacks just pisses us off.
Sure we get that nice 20% boost but how many wand/staves do you see in your server? and if you do see it how much does it cost? Not only that but our dmg is crap compared to other classes/jobs SOOOOO unless Nexon makes us usefull (besides saling leech) then we'll be happy

Because this new pendant is totally going to be as expensive as deputy stars. Noo, driving down HT pendant prices totally won't imply it's going to be as or more expensive than it is now.
Don't even peach about price, because we all know melee equips totally aren't some of the most expensive things in the game!
