It's the greed of mankind why those people dislike socialism.
However, once they realize pure greed only leads to mass anger among civilians (civil war in extreme cases), they will see that socialism isn't that bad at all...
Greed will always hunt mankind down. It did 1000 years ago, it did now (Credit Crisis), and most likely it will happen again in the future...
But for now... most socialist haters "hate it" because taxes might raise a little... it's all about the moneh...
But then again... look at Europe... most countries have Socialist Democracies there, and life ain't that bad at all in France / Holland / Germany, right?
