How do I unassociate file types?

I still need help on getting a folder to open like how it usually should

You can do it manually in regedit! I remember that i had some fun with filetypes in regedit a long time ago n-n I changed so that i could create jpeg files on the fly :]
Anyways! I would have to check it before i know the answer of it.
