For more clarification on a Binder, turns out they don't get healing spells that can heal others, but they do get Fast Healing, meaning they can heal themselves up indefinitely. They are forced to use only simple weapons and light armor and I don't think know any spells other than to summon their Vestige, but they can change that through use of binding to their Vestiges. For example, by himself, he's probably weaker than any other class in the game. Binding with a Vestige though, can grant him abilities like a rogue, become invisible, gain natural weapons like horns/claws, to be able to equip plate and/or heavy weapons, to even becoming a spellcaster. At level 15, I believe he can bind with 3 vestiges, which of course makes room for versatility.
