*How do you get 'hacked'*

We've all heard it.

"My friend got hacked today."

We've all had people close to us have this problem, but how exactly does it happen? I refuse to believe in the idea that there is a magic hack fairy going around infesting our maple accounts. Most people I ask have literally no idea how it happened.

So, how doe sit happen?

There are a few methods and theories.

*The Keylog theory
*The trusting the wrong person (who later just logged in and took it all) theory
*Hackers who need your ID to get your PW/Pin
*Hackers who can reach you via IE scripts i.e. logging into your nexon site account
*Opening an email with an attachment
*MSN/AIM hacks
*The liars who want attention

As far as I know, these are all just rumors.

I'm looking for a real technologically savy person to elaborate on just how getting hacked could be possible. People popping in with stories about how their friends got hacked by just logging out arent things I want to hear about.

Is there a logical explanation for getting hacked?
