The Truth Unravels

Everyone has the right to know about the many Truths and secrets in this world. However, is it unwise to assume that you will be given all, if not, any information that can be trusted. It is on us to distinguish the Truth from the Lies; to discuss, collaborate, debate, and seek out all manners of Truth. I wrote this poem to remind myself of that and in the hopes that you too will continue to search for the Truth.

 The Truth Unravels

A web of Lies that clouds and binds
That shrouds our eyes, fills our minds
The road to freedom is the way of the sleuth
To seek out and uphold the Truth
For it is speech that puts up and ends fights
Armed with the Truth, guarded by rights
We will use our words to reveal the upheaval
A beacon for the dark, to scrutinize evil
Watch the weave become steadily unwoven
As the thread is pulled by those who have spoken
