i heard that the standards for elemental power are 75% and that the staffs/wands add 25% so then you would have 100% BUT 100/75=133,33% meaning you would have gained 33%
then wouldnt weakening holy element work the same? 75% - 25% = 50%
50/75=66,66% meaning a 33,33% penalty?
or is the bonus/penalty 25% of the standard of 75% meaning 75 x 1,25 = 93,75% meaning a 18,75% bonus instead of 25% and also the same amount of penalty if using holy...
so basically my question is, what is seen as 100% ? is it the standard elemental dmg? cause im sure that in the data the standard for elemental dmg is 75% if you say you add +25% its important to know if you start off with 75 or 100%
might just be me though :S pro respond plox xD
I don't think i got what you mean fully but I think it just makes it 75% if the wrong element is used. For the right element its just 100% + the bonus. Ice staff = 100 + 25% for ice, 100 + 10% for lightning. If ice mage/bishop is using Fire staff then it will cut their damage to 75% so its lower than using a regular wand. If a fire mage is using the wand, it will add the bonus to 100%. I think this is how it works, atleast it'll be a lot simpler if it works this way.
