since kenpachi believes himself "unstopable" (think juggernaut's mutant power) for kenpachi to lose, V will have to nostalgia kempachi into remembering any time he's lost a fight.
i really dont see any substance to this fight, because if i could manipulate reality with my thoughts (professor x) why would i bother training my physical body? Thinking back to Aizen, and also Tousen, imo they both eventually lost because they gave up on their basic powers in lieu of hogyoku/hollowfied upgrades.
i hate to cross-genre again, but a willpower fight is exactly what green lanterns do. so it's not so much a power battle, as a talking battle of "who can intimidate the other first". intimidate -> doubt -> fear -> lose.
how many years has it been since ichigo first 'beat' kenpachi, and (after the fight) kenpachi asks his sword's name? for "completion of story development" dont we have to see kenpachi's bankai? insert classic shonen upgrade sequence
much more interested in the upcoming unohana fight flashback
