[Little research] 1h sword paladins

So why do people spend so much scrolling these with GM scrolls when they can have better range using a different sword, and spend around the same amount scrolling that weapon using a GM scroll?

Because range isn't that big a deal. To most normal players anyway. Then again, all the normal players aren't paladins, so they go with 2h.
