There's an HP bar at the top and everything. And to lower its HP, you have to go through different rooms of the labyrinth, in a party or alone; it doesn't matter which. You could specifiy a solo option or a party option, and you could even change the difficulty as you saw fit. Each room would be akin to a room from the classic Ludibrium Party Quest, except it would be fun instead of tedious. Like ... a room full of monsters and you have to keep killing until you get a consecutive hit score (ala aran's combo) of 200 or more. Higher difficulty modes would simply up the counter; this way one couldn't just pay their way to the top. There would be obstacles in the way of reaching the next group of monsters, obviously, to create a kind of thrill. I don't know -- I'm just throwing ideas out there. The main takeaway from this is that the boss is defeated in segments, none of which involve actively attacking a single entity known as "the boss." There would be a random number of rooms each time, but the maximum would be ten. Each room gives a prize coin, so even if you fail it's not like you've wasted your time, and five of those coins can be traded for a prize box.
Now I'm just saying but doesn't that sound like a more complex version of gollux? =3 Not tha I'm saying there's anything wrong with that, but I'm thinking making nexon is slowly getting a bit better [even slightly] at making bosses than before.
