Another MapleStory ticket story (WIP)

Right now, I'm having your same exact issue on my main. But it seems my ticket story was much.. worse.

Hello. I'd like to report an issue I'm having.

Whenever I try to enter my personal farm (Monster Life) on my main character "Combattente" (level 200 Marksman in Bera), the client closes with an error: "Error code 38: (Reached the end of the file)".

This is definitely an issue related to that specific character, since other characters can enter Monster Life Farm perfectly.

However, Combattente is the character I play most of the time, so this is very inconvenient.

Please investigate my character / account further to resolve this issue.

Thank you for contacting Nexon America Customer Support.

I appreciate you reporting this information. It appears that a map hacker may be in game disconnecting other players.

A possible solution would be to reboot your computer and try again momentarily. If this does not help I would then suggest that you manually re-install the game from the official Nexon.net website.

Please make sure to use the "Add/Remove Programs" when deleting the game. Also select "Delete Files" by opening up Internet Explorer going to the "Tools" option and into `Internet options" There, go to the "General" tab, and then find the "Temporary Internet files" (should be close to the browsing history) and select "Delete files" Once it is clear, try to download the game again.

Make sure that you are using an updated version of Internet Explorer, it is a known issue that other browsers may have conflicting issues with our website. Also, make sure that you are downloading the client from the official Nexon.net website.

Also, I understand that security is a major issue and to keep your system secure I suggest that you secure your account in the following manner.

1. Change your password
2. Do a PIC reset
3. Run a good antivirus program
4. Change the password related to your email a

Please be sure to close all unnecessary programs prior to running the game. You will need ensure that your Anti-Virus and Spyware protection programs do allow MapleStory and HackShield.
