Night lord hyper is pretty much the strongest instantaneous burst attack among low cooldown hypers.
And it's brilliant maneuvers, not great maneuvers, and it describes buccs really well. Spiral -> dspiral is a great maneuverability tool...when monsters are present and moveable.
