Antiperspirants mess up your body's natural cooling system because your sweat is blocked in the armpits and it has to find another sweat gland to exit. Over time this cause serious problems to your body. Recent studies have also shown that antiperspirants contribute to more serious health effects such as breast cancer.
This is not saying that deodorants have no health effects either, just less.
