Relative farm of each team and team composition matters a lot more than the kill score. You can be 10:25 and still winning if you're ahead in farm and have better teamfight.
1.5k? Wow when you put it that way it's a load of gold. That's actually more gold distributed than a tower, isn't it? And I see. It's definitely quite good to know being ahead of farm and better teamfight capabilities can indeed turn around a bad initial game.
