Doubt. It goes too far for precise dodging and it goes too slow for double teleport before the lasers comes down. Add to the fact that you can't instantly teleport during Shikigami Haunting and it's a bit annoying when compared to Azwaning with my Phantom or Bishop.
The "blink" has saved me but it also put me right on top of a tower once.

To me it just sounds like your bad at Kanna. I've had no problem dodging in Azwan with Ether Pulse and on top of it, she has a second job skill that can move her even further. And also every random blink skill can put you on top of a tower so I don't even think that's a legitimate reason for saying it's bad either.
