Buying Wii or Wii U?

Not including the television that would cost additional $500 for a minimum 40 inch. That's nearly the price of my computer *yes including monitor, gaming mouse and keyboard.*

Yeah, lets compare a 40 inch tv to a much smaller monitor, clearly that's a fair comparison. pineapple knows if they even make monitors that big, I certainly couldn't see any of them in a quick search of uk shops. And, unsurprisingly, my quick search turned up that you can get TVs of roughly equivalent size could be had for much cheaper than an equivalent monitor in the 25''ish range.

And don't try that BS about how "The games run fine on the system. They are made by computers, their full potential is dedicated towards computers, they are ported to consoles which are inferior.

You seem to think I mind that they don't meet their "full potential". Like I care. It's literally good enough for me that they run on the system at a constant decent frame rate. And yes, I think 30fps is good enough.

Even more so when the PC versions get hilarious delays compared to the console games, which happens more often than I am comfortable with.
