Eh. For me, I check out Nerfnow primarily for the TF2 comics. Also, NerfNow actually made me aware of DoTA 2 before I ever got into it, so in a way if it wasn't for NerfNow I wouldn't have gained as much interest in the game. It's not all that bad, just too many silly people there that go nuts for fanservice and/or those that rage whenever the author makes a comic about X or Y.
