I was a Radeon card owner. Every released with the 12 series drivers was issue after issue. Clocks stuck on idle, clocks stuck on load, it was a pain in the ass. I had to replace DDL files in my system folders. It became a pineappleing hassle. This is from my experience. I haven't had issues with my Nvidia card.
Either way the 660 is a lot better than a 7850. Kepler architecture is amazing.
