Hey Comb, that did made me go mad too.
Anyways, I dunno, some of the bugs seem very easy to fix. The typos in Monster Carnival, for instance. They could fix that in a snap. What about the Extra D glitch? All of the other versions with Showa Town have no Extra D glitch so I can't see why they would close that. Anyways, if it was your reason, Nexon would have probably close Tespia after rounds I or II when they figured out they can't fix the bugs. But no, they extended it all the way to term III...
It probably was just an event to get people hyped up about the area. Nexon said they would shut it down for CK, and so they did. After, they probably either forgot about it or converted Tespia into Yellonde.
And besides, we're not needed anymore.
