3. Turn some commonplace NX items into meso sinks. While it doesn't exactly help the potential issue much, can you imagine in-game Miracle Cubes, Pendant Slot Expansions, or slot expansions? I can imagine the economy's mesos will steadily dwindle until it becomes an acceptable ratio again.

This can be really good for in-game stuff that can't be injected back into the economy, like pendant slots and slot expansions as you say, but as soon as you add something like miracle cubes it goes back to inflate the economy with cubed items bought with hacked/botted mesos, so it becomes an incentive for hackers to keep farming mesos and people to buy those mesos to gain those cubes/items, and the circle repeats.
