About BillingPP Bans

It seems that this GLITCH was with players like myself who logged in for the brief hours that the game was up during the v.118 maintenance/update and who bought anything from the cash shop during that time. The rollback apparently created a virtual chargeback of Nx on our accounts, and we were all banned and forced to miss the 2x and hot time events and to lose ...

That's exactly the same thing I had in mind when I posted this morning over at Nexon Forums (I'm UnstableGameYo over there):

Now, the problem here is, it seems players who had spent any form of NX or Maple Points in that period of time between Client Patch v.118 completing and the final maintenance for that day (Extended Maintenance 9:30 AM - 6:15 PM Pacific) are now blocked from the game due to the restoration.

I asked around a bit more since posting that and a friend of mine actually bought a Surprise Style Box after the patch and before the rollback. He hasn't been billingpp blocked yet.

My other friend was thinking possibly multiple IPs logged into an account, but I really doubt it. I still see my own friends share accounts and log in from multiple IPs and they haven't been billingpp blocked yet. I would think they would at least make an announcement that they're now banning account sharing if it were that..

Virtual Chargeback seems the most reasonable and likely cause of this slaughterfest. However, I don't think it's a 100% chance if this is the case, seeing as one of my friends seem to have came out of it safe or got lucky.
