No, it gets worse.

All of the "lightsaber" weapons have item skills attached to them. There's a 90% chance at weapon's level 1 that you'll receive a skill. So far, the skill for all of the weapons is this:

"10% chance to slow enemy mob by 50 speed"

GG Marksmen, Hamstring is now useless.

Edit - No wonder you have to pay to get in. It all makes sense now.
