With the new secondary, 1h+shield loses that advantage of extra potential lines.
That means if you can get your hands on (Decent) SI, Yellow Aura, or the speed boost inner ability, 1h+shield is worse than 2h in every single aspect.

I have a Unique 19 attack shield. Right now it's also 18% str, but when the change comes I should be able to recube it for %boss if I want.
Why would I want to replace it with a new unscrollable item I'd need to cube from scratch?
i actually meant that they'd still be recubing their shield, but i can see why you'd get something else from my post.
