Bosses are bosses for a reason, dude. Even classic games like Zelda and Metroid let a boss wail on you until you hop on over to its precise weak spot and hit it hard there.

Those games all give you a warning when a boss is about to hit you so you have a chance to get out of the way or decide if you want to continue attacking. Bosses in Maplestory don't have any special tricks like having a weak spot, you just have to hit them until they die or until they cast Seduce or Damage Reflect (the latter of which is difficult to see in the sea of yellow and red numbers), and after they do, you die. I'd actually prefer this game a lot more if Zakum could strategically respawn arms or pomegranate or if there was literally any benefit to watching the screen as opposed to holding down the attack button and surfing channels with my free hand.
