They started detecting autohotkey as a hack tool and will shut down maple if it's running on your system as of this patch.

Oh god. This may or may not completely screw me over.

I've been 10 minute banned twice already. Each time it was cause I tabbed back on to the Maple Story client while letting my Firefox browser load. It's a pretty sensitive system.

Nice bug fixes, lol. I just got a 10 minute ban myself.

So, should I even bother playing today?

It's not THAT bad. I've had my character online all day today, been banned twice 10 minutes each, but I was loading websites while i tabbed and it caused my client to disconnect and got a ten minute ban. Hope this means they finally got something done about third party programs but won't count on it.

I wouldn't. According to the thread on the official forums, people are even getting permanently banned.

same here. even launched 2 maples to test the new change (or accidental?) and all is fine. :f6:

I restarted my computer and I've been good since then. Apparently that stupid pop-up notice saying "Change of game engine, restart blah blah blah", meant to restart my computer and not Maple. That would probably explain why I had the 2-3min DC.
