The SS boxes take all the fun out of getting and making CS outfits... I would've bought several items if they were released normally, but not on a gamble.

I might get the Red and Blue demon for my Paladin. I'm still waiting for Perm Fennac Foxes to release + the perm red scarf they wear. Going to buy 3 of them to follow my Hero @_@.

So 15watt for 45k nx... (And 3 Pet equips with 7 slots apparently... no?)

Yep, pet rings at 7 slots each. I think these are the best pets u can get for buffs.

The Demon pet buffs are bugged, by the way. They don't always go away when the pet is unequipped.

Once glitched, it even sticks around through relog.
(It can be unglitched, though. So it's not as if Nexon intended for the buff to be active as long as you have the pet in inventory, regardless of whether it's equipped).

I have 3 pets. When one of my demon pets closeness gets low they disappear and the buff goes away, leaving just two buffs representative of what I have in the open. It may have to do with feeding.

In Korea the sale of virtual items laws is extremely strict which is why KMS CS clothing is always perm. KMS Phantom NX Set cost about 14k-15k NX.

However in America, there are no such laws against the sale of virtual items. As a Diablo 3 player their EULA states that the sale of virtual items is considered a rental from Blizzard. Similarly this is like a person buying a house and leasing it to a tenant and allowing the tenant to re-lease it out.

Being GMS they have the ability to either give it as perm, make it a cash shop surprise box, or 90 day it (rental).
Regardless of these laws. I am banking on GMS selling it as a perm package, not as a surprise style box or 90 day rental since the demand for a perm is so high, they wouldn't want to anger the maple community!!!

I see no reason for them to do it differently than the JETT outfit.
The community gets mad, but the community pays. So all is well for Nexon.

I've got nothing against the surprise style boxes. As a matter of fact what you stated is why I like it so much. This basically comes down to who has time for Maplestory.
If you got the time and merching skills then sure you can make lots of meso and purchase these NX items w/o paying a cent. Thanks to summer I can play maplestory a bit longer =)
At the same time the people that don't have time and works 8 hr - 12 hr shifts will have money and prefer to spend that on NX perm equips than having to merch all day.

Yeah, but some people don't want to wait for a certain item (and in perma form, too) to show up in FM. Not to mention a complete set. (Not all worlds are Scania, yet).
The are perfectly willing to pay NX and just buy the complete outfit, but Nexon won't give them that option.
