Nexon Taking Action Against EE-Hacked Equips?

It's a start I guess. When it comes to EE-hacked stuff though I don't know why they can't just delete them all outright in one go, I'm positive the right database command would let them do that. Same goes for garbage like 100% GM scrolls, 27att VSS and othr dupe fodder. A case-by-case approach is just too slow when getaway accounts are so easily made.

Oh, and unrelated, but cut the number of mesos on every account by 90%. Any alternative solution to the worthlessness of the meso? >_>

that would make botting in places with high meso drop incredibly overkill, and hackers would get even more powerful.

This doesn't balance anything at all, by the way. The 5% of the population with tens of billions will still have 10% of that which is a lot higher than what everyone else will have anyway.

The only thing this does is artificially reduce prices and ratios without actually changing any difficulty in buying anything.

If I buy 27 att VSS from the mts, I am doing nothing that breaks the ToS, therefore I am not illegit.

Benefiting from hacked items is against it as well so yea. You can be considered ill legit though most people would be more concerned about the people making said equips.

Given that you can double the amount you have every time a channel crashes, probably in the thousands by now.

its actually worse than that, not only does it not hurt the hackers in any way because everyone gets hit evenly, but they can farm mesos a lot more easily...

decimating all existing mesos will give hackers more buying power. and all the ratios pop back to similar levels within a few weeks/months.

Reduce the dropped mesos by 1/10th.
Add meso bags to CS
Hackers and NX hoars waste all the NX funded from duping on those.

again, decimating meso drops for everyone hurts legits a lot more than hackers... you need an idea that 1) doesnt include NX because it makes maple feel worse overall (f2p, pay2win feels terrible) and 2) doesnt affect EVERYONE, only hackers because any time you affect everyone at once, the hackers win

how about this.

Destroy all mesos
Delete all items that without hackers otherwise unobtainable (i.e 300atk+ weapons, 27atk VSS, GM Clean slates etc etc)
Ban any player(including all accounts that IP has logged onto) that had such an item ("Legit" or Not they knew it could happen)
Hire some pineappleing GMs?

There has to be a huge meso sink for anything in the economy to recover, and there's no way to really not f`uck over non-nx users.

how do you feel about the fatigue and trait systems? i find charm frustratingly hard to get, but the daily cap is high enough that i dont think id ever hit it in a day if i could zak all day. the rest of them feel like theyre holding me back artificially. like nexon is saying "we dont want you to do more than x in our game". thats bad business strategy. however, if the cap on exp was high enough for the uber rich to not be held back, is it really gonna restrain a hacker?

and how about the limits on world transfers and per-character meso cap? what do? just buy a slot of apples to take with you. just fill up another mule with 2.1b.

dont get me wrong, im neutral to these ideas where i think the others were plain bad. i just dont think they offer solutions.
a real solution is more along the lines of proactive hack prevention, like daily randomized variations of hackshield that get updated/changed every couple months with a new set of randomizations... that could be computerized and would quickly highlight users of cheat engines. would you bother updating your cheat engine every few hours or every day, if someone can even crack hackshield before the next switch?
