Alien PQ / VIP PQ
#1
Hey Guys,

what do you think will it ever come back??

I sure hope so.

Seems odd that they went through the trouble to make it a standalone pq after the event ended, and yet allowed it to go away with BB.
I hope it's just that they felt they need to adjust the stats of the mobs inside, and rather than release it "broken" they just hid the NPC until that's done. Hopefully soon.

But, it being Nexon, I'm not holding my breath.

Absolutely not, it was only supposed to be an event in the first place.

P.S. The V in VPQ stands for Visitor, not VIP. F3...

I actually still have the quest in my quest log. NPC and PQ is still there apparently. Maybe the NPC to enter is all that is missing.

From what I have heard, this is the case. People that left characters on the VPQ map have been able to successfully VPQ with no problems at all.

I left a character at the Crash Site (PQ entrance) before the Big Bang patch. About a week ago, I was going to delete it to get it's name, it was still at the Crash Site map. I didn't try to enter it (character was level 40), but it still seems to be there. The NPC that sends you to the Crash Site probably got lost in the Big Bang.

The only thing missing is the NPC to get to the map. I just finished PQing for today a couple minutes ago.

I just hope they release another medal that's better or equal to the Time Traveler's one. I missed the event due to being inactive.

I wouldn't doubt that at all. Could it have been they just copy and pasted oversight.

I'm guessing the quest NPC for it is 'OSSS Researcher'? If so I got a quest from that person but says it can't locate the NPC. Just hit 120 a couple hours ago.

I think they originally wanted to keep it in with the BB patch (they went ahead and changed all the monsters in the PQ during tespia stages). I think that they somehow overlooked it when they copy/pasta'd their info over from another source (as they usually do) and it just happened to overwrite the coding (JMS i believe had the PQ "fixed" as well, but was taken out later).

I would also think the same since so many bugs/glitches that they fixed before reappeared with Big Bang plus some stuff they made for us, but I wouldn't keep my hopes up for the Vpq since they had it in the tespia but somehow we didn't get it on the main game.

If that's the case then we still do in fact have a high level PQ... not that it's a absolute must do PQ, it does offer nice items.

Perhaps some tickets to the Support section are in order?

The npc wasn't 'lost' with big bang. The Visitor PQ npc was still there in henesys in the first revision of Big Bang in Tespia, it was removed in the second one and wasn't added back in the 3rd version.

I filed a ticket anyway. Maybe they can add it to the listing for the PQ Warp Gate.

It was removed in the 2nd one because nexon copy/pasted JMS files, which had their NPC removed. It also explains why showa mobs are proper.

Copy pasting the images is a bit of an oversight, but the tank would mean a whole new map with different platforms. Not really something they can get away with like simple image changes.
