Class t-shirt design

I'm trying to make the design for my class' t-shirts. I've been told, however, that my design is sorta hard to read.

It's supposed to say Washington Lee Seniors 2011. Some of my friends thought it said "what's going on?" at first glance while others thought it said "Ashington." Any ideas to make this better?

make the "W" more easy to tell as a W.
and i like #2 over one, in that style.

It took me a minute to read it out, but I don't go to your school. Classmates should pick out Washington Lee faster than I can.

I like the first one better. 2011 just seems more complete than '11.

Thanks, that actually looks pretty good. I'll try to make it look something like that.
@Hazzy, yeah, that's what I figured but someone from school said it just looked like an eye-exam chart.

Also John, I suggest you do not rasterize your text layers, keep them as fonts and sharp. so you can scale it better later. Also you don't want to use the same girl on the top, try using illustrator and its live trace function on yourself (or anyone) against a dark background.

@XTOTHEL, I actually couldn't find the font that was used on the album cover :\ I had to copy and paste letters from (this) source, that's why all the letters look blurry. I don't think it should matter too much because it's just going to be on a t-shirt.
