Unlock your gachapon box event

I really hate gach box events but I was thinking, and one thing you have to be grateful to nexon for is the fact that they make the boxes drop. They could've easily just made gach boxes the cash shop purchase, but instead offer us a chance to make some quick money just for fighting enemies and looting boxes.

What should be grateful--

So? What could be an entirely self-serving event for Nexon allows the average player to make some money.

An average player doesn't have to be an NX user. So IMO: having both a box AND key cash items is no different(or can be).

Actually, you could profit off of boxes without spending NX, depending on how rare of a drop they are. Just sell to the NX hoars.
You could also buy Gach-box rewards in large numbers as the event drew to a close and resell them a month later for significant profit.

I'm talking about THE ACTUAL BOXES. You don't need NX to get BOXES from MONSTERS, and you can sell those BOXES for MESOS. Nexon didn't need to allow this, they could've easily just sold the BOXES themselve, eliminating the middleman and making the profit entirely for NX users and themselves.

I wouldve liked that idea a year ago, when they were actually worth something. Now they are like 50k-500k....

.....really? The average mapler doesn't gain extreme wealth off boxes lately. I barely even see boxes sell. I myself had enough problems selling silver boxes last year.
Edit: Oh god forget it. You gain mesos w/o nx...I'm not up for arguing..

I sold a solid 30 gold boxes for 1m each last event. That may not be a lot but for very little effort and just picking up where I was training anyway, it's not a bad payday. And the same goes for anyone else who doesn't merchant for a living 30m may not be huge but it's decent enough for pots and such.

Not to mention that with shoe attack scrolls, a good makered shoe can be way better than a 1 att sock, or at least equal.

I think that's why they have 7 slots. Making them better than fs and any makered shoe you can get simply because you can squeeze 2-6 attack out of those extra slots -- assuming we will be able to get our hands on a decent number of these scrolls. Not to mention the resale value is better on a common class equip.

It seems most of you don't mind/support the addition of shoe for attack scrolls. I, for one, hate it so bad.
it doesn't just screws over facestompers and any already scrolled shoes, but also raises the standards for good shoes like hell.
