A better question would be why do wands and staffs add weapon attack.

For when you have no mana, I'd assume. And if you read, you'd notice I said OR high str requirement, not just warrior only. And I'm sure there was at least one.

What, no love for high-str mages? Anyway, it doesn't really matter. Some thief equips add avoid when they already have more than enough.

I meant the fact that they give Mages wep attk on staffs to hit monsters with there staffs, cause if they smacked a monster with their staff it would miss. Useful for lureing..
