The main reason I've been sticking with American units is because I lacked something like this in my head... this has just made my week. also <3 xkcd

I prefer the imperial system. Dividing by 1 by THREE creates infinite decimals. 10 is a pomegranatety base. We should have used base 12. Or 60, but I dunno how we would manage that.

Besides, the Imperial system works just fine for length, volume, mass, and speed. Degrees Farenheit is a stupid unit, though.

Actually, besides the need to manage decimals, the metric system is easier for common use. Something that has a 0 degree temperature sounds better than 24 degrees Fahrenheit and that's considered the neutral point of temperature. (considering water's fusion point). Something without weight is 0 grams, while its 70.54 lbs in the imperial system... NOT accurate at all.

And the list goes on.

Fahrenheit: Found by measuring the temperature of ice water with ammonium chloride to be 0F and, for some other stupid reason, scaling it to 32F is freezing water, and 96F is average internal body temperature.

Ohhhh, 1 meter is a lightsaber blade. It all makes sense now, since I had all these lightsabers laying around for a perspective!

We should totally use base 6 though:
