PS4

I thought it was a PS4 exclusive.

Nope, it was announced for both systems.

I will be getting one, probably within the next year, but will be waiting until there are actual PS4 exclusives that aren't on the PS3 as well. I don't so much mind the price, but I have little reason to upgrade when any new game that's coming out in like the next 6 months or so will be on both consoles most of the time.

I will probably get one later. Firstly because the first editions are usually glitchy and sometimes even faulty, and secondly because buying full price is retarded when it will drop by a decent amount in just a f ew months.
This might have been different if they had some interesting titles at launch, as has been said already.

The last console I bought at launch was my PS2, and only then because my name was drawn in a raffle for it at work. Have my name in the raffle for this one too, but will probably ebay it or something if I win, hardly any games I'm interested in at launch to justify the money spent it seems (my thinking anyway as I would just watch movies on it if I unpacked it at all). Maybe later on after some games come out I would want to play and the price drops though, same as the others.

Just plugged in my PS4. Only got Call of Duty. Will get need for speed, and I want to try Knack; it looks cute. But I hear that it's not all that great.

The one negative I keep reading about Knack is repetitiveness, which leads to the game being "boring".

Good thing I'm 100% immune to repetitiveness. I have to thank the Disgaea series for that.

I think I'll give it a shot though. It just looks cute. Even if it is a kids game.

I got the money, but all pre-orders are filled and the next 2 trucks with ps4's for the store I was getting it from are also already 'sold'.

I'll wait for a The Division package or a price drop now.

Since they announced the release my entertainment money every paycheck $50 was just adding up. Maple hasn't had anything since February mainly a cube sale. My ps3 got yellow in April so I been holding back on buying another one since then. So day one ps4 is worth it to me. :-) the couple games I have will hold me off for a while.

Will wait until I have a sweet stash of PS+ games, and then I'll get it. I'm glad it's confirmed we can still claim ps4 games through the webstore.

Probably not before a price drop though.

Just picked up my PS4, but it's going to sit in its box for a while until my sisters come home for Xmas.

Money has been super tight recently. I really wish I preordered one, maybe I could have pulled some cash from savings...

I'll probably end up getting one within the next three years. No point in getting one now though, I still have way too many games to play on my current systems.
