For Ji.

Ji inspired me to pick up a pencil again, and I came up with this. I haven't drawn anything in a long time so please be nice to me =( The scan is kinda bad quality though, but you can still see it.

beautiful!! much flattered rdal (: the shading especially on the lily petals gives them a lot of realism and depth. were you using a photo reference? very pretty!

Aww thanks JiJi. I was using a photo reference for the Lily and the lily pads, but not for the raindrops. I always use photo references because I'm not really one to create XD

hehe am almost always using photo references too (or if not, it's because i memorised a bunch of photo references already) - i think it is good practice for realism.

looks great how you did it! i can't do droplets at all. someday i will steel myself and draw one (from reference)..
