People are way too desperate for leeching services
#21
I remember a series of Smegas from some guy in Khaini asking for leech services, raising his price from 8mil/hour to 15 mil/hour, and kept on going up. Eventually he Smegad in all caps "OMG NO 1 SELLING LEECH YOU GUYS ALL SUK I QUIT MS"

Yea, there was a flurry on Bellocan from two guys who were looking for BFs. Went on for about half an hour before they gave up or they found somebody. Such a shame how leeching overrules training now. :/

Oh god....

Desperate lazy asses like these make me almost want to crank out my guild leader's old Bishop (yes, OLD. He has a LUKless one now) and leech for mesarz. Rolleyes

Sigh, they aren't going to get past 12x when they see how slow LEECHING will become, and I highly doubt they will being able to keep churning out millions of mesarz just so they can train AFK when solo training is actually cheaper. That is where I will surpass them. Shine

Of course most of them won't, but considering that most of them want to reach fourth job in the first place before quitting, then they are achieving their goals.

All leeching does is make it harder to tell the difference between the lazy asses, and the people who actually worked for their levels (especially the ones who got lvl 120+ before 4th job existed.)

It also makes it nearly impossible for non leechers to find parties to train in.

Yeah, I'm finding it harder nowadays to find a committed 4 hour training partner on the weekends, so I know where you're coming from.

Or get KSed by hackers. I still haven't had a complete Bigfoot solo because hackers keep coming in and killing the rest of my bigfoot.

That happens a lot to my friends =(.

Btw, is it normal for Bigfoot to tank hits?
Some of my attacks go right throughMad

Yes, Bigfoot is missing a hitbox on many of its frames. This means it is both invincible and does no damage.

Maple's a fun game at the lower levels. You're getting levels, AP and SP pretty fast, you get new skills and discover new things.

Then you get high level Maple: 30% (or less) in a 4 hour grinding session, all useful skills are maxed out, now you're getting 5 stat points and the ability to choose between maxing retarded skill A or retarded skill B. From 120 on, you're probably on the same training map all the time.

I am not a huge fan of leeching, and I think using it defeats the point of advancing a character... but at the same time, I sorta see where they're coming from.
