Late Night Ramblings From A Tipsy Drinker~

Weaponry has a drastic effect in warfare. Example: When the Germans invaded Poland their Pzkfw I-III were able to easily destroy Renault FT-17s. However the German success was also large due to new strategies and new tactics. The Six Day and Yom Kippur wars were won largely due to Israeli superiority in the Air & Armor which was contested through missiles in the Yom Kippur war and hence why it was more deadly to the Israelis (and the fact that Egypt was not allowed to import any more replacement parts for their armored divisions).

And your point is null due to the fact that an armored, sealed, and supplied tank could kill endless amounts of simple spear men, simply by running them over.

Americans have great weaponry but terrible strategy and tactics and are able to win wars (especially in 1991, that was a masterpiece of Air Supremacy & technology, not strategy). And once again "could fall prey" doesn't mean they will.

Wikipedia Wrote:The Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) is a group of twelve states[1][2] made up of Iran, Iraq, Kuwait, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Libya, Algeria, Nigeria, Angola, Venezuela and Ecuador. Recently, Indonesia has decided to leave the organization, a move which will be completed by the end of 2008.[3] The organization has maintained its headquarters in Vienna since 1965,[4] and hosts regular meetings among the oil ministers of its member states.

what? no.
the 6-day war was expected, we knew that our enemies are stocking up on weapons to start another war and we prepeared ourselves too, it wasnt our superiority in weapons, which wasnt that big actually, it was the fact that we used a good strategy, we attacked first and we destroyed a big part of their airforce including more than half of their planes as the war started and it gave us almost a full control over the air.

the yom kippur war wasnt that successful (though we did win) because they caught us with our pants down, not only cuz our leaders were arrogant as hell after the 6-days war and they didnt believe the arabs are going to start another war (well, the intelligence gave some false info too), but because they started it at yom kippur (i dont feel like explaining what it is).
plus, the arabs actually fought better this time.

weapons does mean something (but its not pomegranate!), but not as much as strategy and if u ever played a good RTS game, you'll know it.
