Is there anything left to accomplish?
#21
If I leveled 471389501327x faster? Probably this list:

1) Get to level 200.
2) Solo Zakum.
3) Complete all of the possible quests.
4) Get 2.3 billion * 4 mesoes on my account.
5) Get all of the monster book cards.
6) Get perfect equipment with chaos scrolls (lol that's going to take forever).
7) Solo Horntail, if it's possible, with Naricain Demon Elixers.

But my personal one? Get to third job on my gunslinger, ha ha.

The ultimate goal in maple is to probably get 2.1 bil, all monster books, and every class to level 200. Will anyone ever do that? Probably not.

Dunno about you, but my goal is maplestory is to have fun. At least to me, grinding for hours and hours on end to get to level 200 isn't fun.

All in all, my goal is to finish quests. Personally, I can't stand quests in my Available and In Progress tab.

My second goal: Clean out my mules' inventories. They're stocked up with random things that aren't useful to me.

My goals?
1) Get all the basic equipment I need to be low-dex/dexless brawler.
2) Have 1 billion mesos
3) Get 3rd job
4) Get 4th job
5) Upgrade my equips even further
6) Monster book
7) be KNOWN!

Now that there's more data, I'm seriously starting to see the bias in this poll. =/

Since I'm somewhat of a skeptic, I honestly doubt that everyone thinks there truly is nothing. If they truly believe that, then they wouldn't be playing and most of the SP population would die off within a few weeks as everyone quits from the "realization" that there's nothing, which shouldn't be the case. Have fun and socialize. It's a game nothing more to me. Smile If I get rich or have nice equips to deal with what I throw myself at, that's just a bonus! Biggrin

Lol. It's reasons like this that I keep coming back to this game >_<. Because you can concentrate things even more than you said them.

Take for example the level 200 goal. Sure it's been accomplished 64+ times. But has it been accomplished in every class? There are currently no level 200 F/P ArchMages in gMS, and I know several people are eying that title (including myself, like that'll happen LOL); to such people, level 200 is still a notable accomplishment.

Want other ideas of "notable accomplishments?" Top 5 level 200s of your class in gMS. #1 level 200 of your class in your server. Top 5 level 200s of your class in your server. Top 10. Top 20. Top 25.

The lists can go on and on, and that's JUST for the first accomplishment you noted. Now would that lists be pointless after something so specific as, say, #100 level 200 F/P ArchMage in Khaini? Yes of course. But until there are 100 level 200 F/P ArchMages in every gMS server, there's still something to be said about hitting level 200.

My goal is to finally reach 4th job (I'm so horribly obsessed with level 120 that it's scary LOL), then concentrate on my endgame equipments, be able to survive the regional lag that kills me at kMS zakum </3, then continue grind and if I'm too addicted to quit after lvl150~160, grind to 200 8r

You do pretty much set your own goals in this game. Level 200 is certainly a goal that others can perceive (you're on the rankings near the top, may have a statue in the job instructor's hall, etc.), but I think mine are less tangible.

Fourth job (after playing for two years, LOL), enough mesos to fund my main and alternate characters, building a guild full of fun and respectable people, being strong enough to help my friends -- those are some that I am close to achieving.

Naturally, none of those fits into any option in this poll, so my vote is null. Wink

I think there are tons to accomplish in this game. They are, however, all personal. If you feel like you have nothing to accomplish... then maybe it's time to move on.

As for me, I have tons I would love to accomplish. I love bossing. That'll never get old for me. Whether it's Zakum, Papulatus, lolPianus, or even just Mano. I would, love, however to beat every boss atleast once. I, also, have not taken a swing at HornTail yet - which I plan to do sometime in the future.

I'd love to scroll the best gear that I can. I never really buy scrolled stuff, so scrolling something that is considered "godly" would be a huge accomplishment for me.

Level 200 would also be a huge accomplishment. Who cares if theres alread tons of level 200s? That doesn't make getting to 200 an easy feat.

I did not vote in this poll, for a reason that Harrisonized has already mentioned.

Collecting a variety of weapons mostly my goal. I have a Dragon Flame(+16), Pink Seal Cushion, Golden Smith Hammer(+16), Leomite(+13), Morningstar(+23), Gigantic Sledge(+15), Belzet(+13), Golden Mole(+16), Doom Singer(+18), and Titan(+16). o.O with atk over average listed.

If you don't count 2x exp events (I'm not a huge fan of them anyways) then I'm 142 lvls and counting. I've heard of reports of people at lvl 16x+ who are nx-less though.... Technically, I haven't spent any NX, even though I've earned 20k from a fansite event.

Yarly. Then again, I would like to take it slow and steady for lvl 200. That said, I'm predicting at least another two years before that comes to being xD

My original goal was to get a Zakum Helmet via conquering Zakum. That was back when Zruns were 3 hours long and CBs were the life of the run, and there was no such thing as zhelm selling =P

As MS stands now, my goal is to get a perfect-scrolled 105+ base Stonetooth.

I don't have many goals (yes very ironically), but probably:

1. Godly, but not packet edit godly mage equipment
2. Level 170/175?
3. Max mesos and every novelty item I ever want (that includes elemental wands 5 & 6, ugh I don't have those :p)
4. Lastly when I'm done with 1, 2 & 3, I'm going to enjoy the finer points of this game like quests, boss, new characters
