I personally don't give a damn about hacking/hacked maps/duped items in this game anymore. Being so vigilant about it all these years has led me nowhere. Now I just expect exploits and new hacks to come out every week or so and jack pomegranate to be done about them. And there's no need to care. Either we can be "ultra-legit" and be paranoid about connecting oneself to anything deemed unfair/cheat-worthy (as I have been for so long); or we can fly within the atmosphere of reality and realize this whole game's social structure is currently built upon dishonesty, crony capitalism, and cynicism; and that's present just as much within the company's culture as within the player's.

Look's like you evolved . GM presense has been much better which impressed me. Although I find it retarded that they force the gm to manually write a reason then ban them. Kind of stupid really.

I find no fun in leeching from a hacker that hits everything in the map without moving. It's not about being "ultra-legit".
I might've bought items that were scrolled with dupes, but I don't know and I can't worry about that either. I could careless about hackers and the atmosphere you describe, they might be nuisances, but as long as I can play the way I want everything's fine. And I can, I spent the last couple of hours training at ToT and gained a couple of levels, I was also able to afk because I wasn't gonna get kicked from my party, completed mesoranger quests a couple of times and even made a friend.

But yeah, it sucks that there is no good training spot once you're high level because of party play zones. All I can do is Boss except I need expedition mules to go fight bosses such as Hilla, Zakum, Van Leon, Horntail, etc. Finding the people who want to be the expedition mules is really annoying IMO.
Speaking of party play zones, it also encourages training while having 5 mules that stand there and do nothing so that you get much more bonus EXP than you do soloing there, especially buff mules. I might give that a test at strongholds. That is if I have to miss out on RLH because I can't find a way to buy NX other than go to a store to buy the cards.

The standard of focusing on catching/fixing things after the fact is and always has been a flawed way to go about it, let alone the senselessness of their banning protocols. I didn't really evolve but came to the realization that dwelling on this crap won't make a difference; and it's not like Nexon would give a rat's ass about what myself or anyone else thinks about the hideously decapitated shell of security, with a sexy torso (gameplay). I'm just implying that buying duped things to get better damage is the same thing as using a hacked map to level up, in principle. So one is not somehow morally better than the other. Alas, if you think one is more boring than the other, it is a matter of perspective.

Cere Wrote:ToT quests for 128-138? I thought someone upthread just said the level req was 140. And that's just the first one; after that they come at five-level intervals. lol I'm so out of date. I haven't had to raise a character at that level for a few months and when I was, Time Temple was open to lower levels mostly because they hadn't revamped it yet

It's open, just not all of it. You can enter memory lane 1 when you get to 120, I believe.
