Maple Magician Shields will be more valuable in the future?

¬Rob Wrote:Only timeless shield, no reverse. Meaning PB needs to be killed frequently enough for RoTs to be in well supply. Then the shield are equip binding, like other timeless, which is a turn off to most anyone. Other option is the 130 shield, which also binds when equipped.

Timeless Prelude shields have become much more plentiful because Arkarium drops RoTs also. They sell for 45M on Bera.

Potential system was created to revolve around the limitations set by job advancements. Just because something is created with boundaries in mind does not mean that those boundaries changing automatically changes a system that doesn't have any relation. Limitations on potential is not guaranteed to change at all, but apparently none of us would be surprised if it did.
I misinterpreted what I was quoting. Of course job level has no affect on potential tier, but they have coincidentally always fell in the same range. Based on that, there's no reason not to hope they won't be coinciding again.

There is no way they would change the levels for a specific tier.
What would happen to all the current items.. it´s impossible.

This exact thing has happened before. It isn't impossible. At all. The question is will they do it.

i'd like to point out potential "tiers" don't exist in the way the people say they do, the fact that the most wanted potentials fall in THAT level range is by no means a reason for it to change:

% stats change at 31 and 71.
+ stats change every 5? (or 10?) levels
%boss starts at level 50, and improves at level 100
same with ignore iirc
decent skills start at 70, and others at 120.

as you can see, only one of them matches job advance (and it's the decent skills, since the %'s are at job adv+1), they are in no way required to move the % potentials down some levels.

@the bolded part: that roughly coincides with job advance as well.

i know, my point is that it doesn't necesarily need to change though, because the term "tiers" was made by people just for % stats, because every kind of potential has it's own tiers
+stat has a different tier every 5/10 levels, boss has it at 50 and 100, etc etc

You are absolutely correct. It doesn't have to change but it still may, simply because Nexon likes to coincide things. One can hope.
