They sure splurged on this event, I mean it's not like NX costs them anything to produce.

It may cost them a possible loss in amount of money earned on NX.

That is HIGHLY unlikelyGlitter
More probable is a spike in Card NX sales

Not like they have to spend money for every event. In fact, this is good business sense, it makes them profit without losing hardly anything. Its also pure gain for the players as well as long as you dont get caught up in it and buy NX purely for the sake of this event.

If you treat it as normal and happen to get 2x NX, then its good, if you go out and worry about buying a bunch of cards, you're just wasting money.

Quote:Also I think a 25$ card should've had a slightly better chance than a 10$ card, now ill probably just by 2 10$ cards instead of the 25$ I was going to buy, sure im out 5$, but I can manage, and it increases my odds by 50%

Say you're deciding to spend $50 on NX this weekend. You'll be participating in this event, and you'll have to decide if it's to your advantage purchasing $10 game cards or the $25 ones....

Example:

(2) $25 game cards : 2 separate 1/100 chances to double 25k NX to 50k NX (1.99%)

(5) $10 game cards : 5 separate 1/100 chances to double 10k NX to 20k NX (4.90%)

Yes, your odds of winning are better with option 2, but you will earn less NX if your card does come out as a winner.
Regardless what choice you want to go with, you have better odds of hitting the 1 Million NX jackpot with option #2. ^_^

(BTW, the probability of doubling your mesos with 100 game cards is about 63.4%)

Huh, interesting. I've had an NX card in my closet for months now. It was given to me but I sorta quit and never redeemed the card. Guess I might as well, haha. Getting double NX might help me somehow.

They're really giving away nothing on their end since they can generate as much NX as they want. You'll just end up buying more NX in attempt to win the prize.
