Soul Calibur IV

Alright, I think it's time everyone becomes familiar with one of the greatest fighting games in history. If you've never played, seen, or heard of the Soul Calibur franchise please look into it. The newest game (Soul Calibur IV) was recently released on the XBox 360 and PS3. There are roughly 30 or so characters and each of them uses a different weapon set. Also, there are over 100+ moves each character can do and it is easy to modify a character to you're playing style. I highly recommend this game. I am a Maxi user and I also play as Tira for fun. As soon as I get my 360 working again I will put up my gamertag.

Zomg Ivy got completely revamped. ATM my friend is the best Ivy player out there. She has a new stance and a lot more unblockables.

I'm also a Maxi user. You're not one of those fags who uses Maxi simply because he's easy to button mash with, are you? I'm also good with Nightmare and Mitsirugi (Though I have trouble going from Mitsirugi's stance and getting a nice smooth combo. Still working on it).

Haven't played in a while though. Too busy with Fable and Fallout.

Lol no I can't stand Kilik and Nightmare whores that spam. I actually know about 5 easily linked combos that are successful but one of them needs to be patched still The only thing i can't get down is guarding with him because i want to continue chaining attacks but that lets me get ass-pwned

I haven't played 4 yet. Soul Calibur II was amazing, and a big pair of shoes for the sequels to fill. I used to play Maxi because of the sheer number of options he has while moving around, but I moved to using Taki because she's fast as hell. I don't know much about the newer characters.

Ah yes, Soul Calibur. I am terrible at fighting games, but this series was fun to button mash through. (until I got owned. ._.)

Played Soul-Edge, also played Soul Calibur I. Loved Soul Cal a lot more, Lizard Man is awesome! xD I remember when I used to play this game in the arcades, good stuff! I haven't played the recent ones, but my friends has 'em.

Me too! It was called Soul Blade over here but it was still awesome, I worshipped that game.

I can't play SC IV though since I don't have the consoles it's released on. My sis has tried it though and continues to rub it in about how good it is. *goes back to SC III*

Since when did Darth Vader appear in this series?

Vader is only available on PS3 and Yoda is on 360 and Apprentice is on both but those are all lol i buy teh game two be teh gawdly starz warz characterz. They aren't very effective in training and were only in the 4th installment.
