A Corsair is both a "type" of pirate and a faster pirate vessel. In fact, both definitions fit surprisingly well with 4th job Gunslingers.

Meh, alot of the loose half-relevant thought trains that go through my mind when I read the name give me the impression of the warlord of a fleet, or a commander that is driven by some deep personal lust for revenge or something.

Both of which are IMO, quite badass, but thats just me. I doubt they're going to change the name, so i'm glad they changed it to something I like.

I'm going to assume you don't speak Korean. You don't know what the Korean name of these were, and when translating from another language, there can be multiple ways of translating something. Best example I can think of, the Japanese word, yasashii means both easy, and kind. Do those words have links in English? No. But in Japanese, they're the same.

All the names translated were romanized directly from Korean to English, and they still sounded like English. They sounded exactly the same in both languages. It is safe to say that they were changed.

Good thing I made my Gunslinger a female. LOL

Buccaneer... Just is another name for pirate. Like the NFL team, the Buccaneers. lulz.

I think the third job names sound a bit better than the 4th job especially for brawlers it would be nice of those were switched. But it’s all personal preference. Then again perhaps Outlaw does sound a tad too Wild West-ish. Maybe Corsair is more appropriate.

... In all seriousness, the names for jobs and skills are the least important thing. The most important thing is we're getting pirates.

I like all of the new names because at least they have something to do with being a pirate, has anyone ever heard of a viper or valkyrie as a pirate i should as pineapple haven't.
